These terms apply when you use Workphrase, an app for learning work English.

The service

Workphrase teaches English phrases for work with lessons, exercises, games and reviews. Meanings are shown in Russian, in Spanish or in simple English. Translations are made with the help of AI and checked before they are shown, but a mistake is still possible: use «Report a mistake» on a phrase to tell us.

AI check

The AI check gives an answer written by an AI model. It can be wrong. Use it as a hint, not as the only source of truth.

Workphrase Pro

• Pro is a subscription bought through the App Store, for a month or a year. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
• The yearly plan may start with a 7-day free trial. A trial is given once.
• The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it in your Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its rules.
• Reviews are always free.

Who can use it

Workphrase is made for adults who use English at work. You must be at least 13 years old to use it.

Your account

You can sign in with Apple or with Google. Keep your Apple Account and Google account safe: anyone who can use them can sign in to Workphrase. If your account has a password, keep it safe too.

Different sign-in methods can lead to different accounts. For example, if you sign in with Apple and hide your email, and later sign in with Google, you get two separate accounts. We cannot join two accounts into one.

Do not use the service to break the law or to harm the service or other people. We may block an account that does.

Guest mode

You can start without an account. Your progress is kept in a guest profile on our server and is connected to this iPhone. To keep it safe, save your progress: sign in with Apple or Google.

• If you change or reset your iPhone before you save, the guest progress is lost. We cannot restore it.
• If a guest profile is not used for 90 days and has no subscription, we delete it.
• Some features need an account: the AI check and using Workphrase on another device.
• You can buy Pro as a guest. Apple links Pro to your Apple Account, so «Restore purchases» brings it back. Your progress comes back only if you saved it.

Ideas and problems you send

You can send us ideas and tell us about problems in the app. We read every message. We reply by email if you ask for a reply. We cannot promise to build an idea exactly as you asked or by a certain date.

Do not send other people's personal data, passwords, card numbers or anything illegal. We may delete spam and limit how many messages one account can send.

Content

Lessons, texts and audio belong to Workphrase. You may use them for your own learning.

No guarantee

We work to keep the service running and correct, but we provide it «as is» and cannot promise that it never stops or never has a mistake, to the extent the law allows.
